Easy House Plants to Look After

Monstera Monsteras are so easy to look after! And are actually fairly hardy. Watering is fairly simple, water once a week in the winter and twice a week in the summer. Try not to leave these guys in direct sunlight or too close to a … Continue readingEasy House Plants to Look After

Last week I booked myself in for a asymptomatic test and the whole operation was seamless (big up Kent)! Has anyone else had one? ♥️🌈
AD/PR Product 🌈 Cosiness is one of the only things on my mind right now! I’m literally living in things that keep me warm and comforted. When I started chatting to the amazing @hariandthegang, I was immediately OBSESSED with these hoodies, they have a snood hood, are super warm and even have thumb holes! Wasn’t obligated to post, but I literally promise you I BLOODY LOVE IT. Swipe to see my initial reaction when I put it on and immediately sent a picture to my bestie to say LOOK AT THIS! I think you can see how stunned I am at the cosiness 😂😂😂
I’m glad I didn’t peak at secondary school. This is a post I’ve been toying with posting for a while, but it just felt a little too personal/uncomfortable. When I was at secondary school, I felt like I never fit in - I was weird, strange and neither athletic or feminine. Up until my GCSEs I was doing alright but I wasn’t flourishing in any area of academia, and to be honest, I just thought “I’m stupid”.

What really helped was when a lovely teacher informed me that because I wasn’t doing well in her class, she’d looked up my other subjects and it appeared I was average or below in those as well, so I was probably just an ‘average’ person.

Now I’ve done some growing and reached adulthood, I can actually see it was because there was extenuating circumstances in my life that were really affecting me. Interestingly enough, after these circumstances were removed from my life considerably, I somehow turned into a compulsive high achiever.
⁣
Now, this paragraph is where I would give you the answer on how to never peak early — in life, in business etc. Right here. This space. Except I don’t know how... sorry 🤷🏼‍♀️. What I can offer you is that maybe there doesn’t have to be only one peak in your life. Maybe the trick to not peaking too early is to never even peak at all ♥️. So that’s my TED talk for today 😂🤦🏼‍♀️
Woken up to snow! Definitely going to be alternating my time between this cosy nook and snowy walks with Daisy ❄️
Introducing my new WFH colleague, Lola! She really has the best sense of humour and is great to bounce ideas off of 🌿😂👍🏻

Credit to my husband for my plant labelling kit for Christmas!
Treacle update ❤️: Since Treacle’s fit last Friday and our emergency vet appointment ten minutes after, we’re still no further with knowing WHY it happened, as the bloods were inconclusive. However, Treacle has returned to 100% and is doing all the things she LOVES - running about the house, getting cosy on our bed and eating all the chicken.

Thank you all for your comments and outpouring of love for our fluffy floofball. I’ll try to keep you all posted on next steps 🐆🐅🐈
